"PERSEPOLIS", a film by Marjan Satrapi & Vincent Paronnaud. At first, I thought it might be a boring movie but it is better than what I expected.Dominated by black and white scenes but it is original, artistic, creative and funny.Adopted from an autobiographical novel nominated as The Best Comic in 2003. It debuted at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Prize of the Jury. The film stired complaints from the Iranian government even before its debut at the festival. It has humanity message and makes us to look at people beyond their look , color, skin,language etc yet also remind us not to forget who you are and where you come from. We are all human being after all.
